About

Hi. I’m Jaime Perdomo.

Thanks for visiting my portfolio! I’ve been a graphic designer for over seven years now. My freelance work is often either logo design or illustration, while my full-time design work has been heavy in branding, events, and print. I believe that design is better when we collaborate, with our peers and clients— communication and honest feedback produce the best results.

When I’m not designing or illustrating, you can find me nose deep in a good book, checking out stand-up comedy, at the beach, or exploring restaurants in LA.

Sounds like a good fit? Shoot me an email at hello@jperdomodesign.com to talk about how we can partner together.

In summary…

• 7+ years of experience in print and digital design
• Expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong analytical and creative thinking skills
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Collaborative and team player

Before I was a designer

Before I was a designer, I was a teacher. My first degree is in French language studies with a minor in teaching English as a second language, and I was a teacher for 4 years. I spent two years in France teaching English, and two in Miami teaching French. (Yes, I do miss France. And the bread and cheese.)

While I did enjoy many aspects of teaching, I still missed the opportunity to be creative. It made perfect sense to go back to study graphic design and continue looking for illustration opportunities along the way. I’m grateful to have met so many creative and inspiring people on my journey, and that all of my hard work has put me in so many places of opportunity.
